You shook awake The British Music Scene, a lazy slumbering giant and sent a shock wave called ‘Punk’ resonating around the world, that is still inluencing and coursing through our veins nearly half a centuary later.

You taught us to stand tall and proud - and to ‘‘Never, ever, have the feeling we’d been cheated!’’
